Polymount US 2010
Since November 2009 Polymount US is fully operational. All Twinlock sleeves for the US-market are now made in Newnan Georgia, with laser precision..
Jan Willem Boers, President and major share holder, has moved, with his family, to Georgia, in order to put focus on the Polymount products in the USA.
The Polymount USA facility is 30 minutes south of the Atlanta Airport. With OEC-Graphics we will continue to promote and sell the Twinlock sleeve and plate cleaners.
In Europe Polymount has a fast growing market share, slowly eliminating the need for tape . In some countries there is already more plate mounting on Twinlock than with tape.
The USA has many groups of companies with large amounts of printing presses. These companies can save enormous amounts of money and time in the mounting department and increase press output… see article
Most of the groups are starting of with Twinlock, often in several locations at the same time. With very good success.
Polymount USA and OEC-Graphics in Chicago both, have installed a Plate Cleaner for demo purposes. With more or less 25 units in operation in the US, we have just begun to have success.
The Polymount Plate Cleaner is the best sold plate cleaning machine in the world, enabling flexo printers to optimize the re-use of expensive printing plates. Around 300 units have found their way to (mostly) European printers.
For as little as 900-1000 dollar per month, you can have a plate cleaner working in your flexo department. Every flexo printer in the world wastes more than 1000 dollar per month
in plates, because of bad treatment after printing. !000 dollars is the equivalent of (more or less) 4 printing plates (for a wide web printer) !!
